Zsadany & Tinca - building the future of Europe through volunteering
The self-governing commune of Zsadany is organizing a meeting to be held in their town on August 5-6, 2017 together with its twinned town, Tinca, which will be attended by 360 invited participants, 180 from the village Zsadany and 180 international guests from Tinca. The event aims mainly at bringing closer and strengthening the relationships between the two towns at the level of the citizens, companies and local governments. The project theme is Understanding and building the future of Europe through promoting volunteering, tolerance and intercultural dialogue at the level of the twinned towns, Zsadany and Tinca.
Objectives of the project:
- Strengthening the institutional, economical and human relationships between the citizens of the twinned towns.
- Understanding by participants of the role of the European Union to overcome Euroscepticism
- Raising the level of tolerance of the participants regarding to each other.
- Raising the level of solidarity among the citizens of the twinned towns through volunteering.
